Top Tips For Eye Exercises That Improve Eye Vision

Our bodies have magical amazing abilities to heal themselves. Often, western medicine serves to correct the symptoms and not the cause of diseases or physical problems. This phenomenon also occurs for eye wear, that corrects the refractive problems for your eyes. Common ones are short sightedness, long sightedness and astigmatism.

The first exercise is palming:

Palming is more of a relaxation technique, rather than an eye exercise. However, its importance should not be overlooked. With our fast paced society, we often over use our eye power, sitting long hours in front of a computer, or hitting the books to pass exams. Rub your palms together till they feel warm, and then place them over your closed eyes for a moment of relaxation.

The second exercise is eye ball rotation:

The first thing that you have to do is to rotate your eyes from top to the sides and then to the bottom. Then next come an extra thing that you to do. Learn to focus at things at different corners of the eye. This will help to retrain the power of image focusing by your eye balls, which can help to improve your eyesight.

The final exercise is to practice focusing on objects:

Take a solid object, and place it a various distances and locations in front of you. Do not move or rotate your head, but rather rotate your eye balls to focus on a particular object that has shifting distances and locations. You will need a friend or partner to help you in this.

The best method is still to get rid of your glasses, and seek to regain your natural perfect eye sight. I have thrown away my glasses several years back, and was thankful that I am saved from a lifetime of eye wear inconveniences and costs.

I now have perfect vision in my right eye, and near perfect in my left. I have searched for natural ways to improve my vision, and have found one that actually works for me. Do check out the scientifically proven, natural and easy way to improve your vision, without burning a hole in your pocket.

Is It Safe to Open Your Eyes Underwater in a Swimming Pool?

Virtually anyone who has spent time in a swimming pool has at one time or another opened their eyes while under the water. Perhaps you forgot to bring your goggles along and need to retrieve a dropped item. No doubt you experienced blurry vision at those times, and perhaps mild irritation and redness later in the day. This prompts a larger question - are there long term, harmful effects caused by opening your eyes underwater in a swimming pool.

First, let's discuss why your eyes get irritated and red. The water chemistry in a swimming pool needs to be closely monitored so that the water stays free of algae and other living organisms. Most pool operators use chlorine to accomplish this. However, contrary to what you may have heard, the chlorine in the water is not the cause of eye irritation. The actual cause is the water's pH level. This is a measure of how acidic the water is, and it must be within a certain range for the pool chemicals to be effective. If the pH is above or below this range, then your eyes get irritated whenever water is in them.

So, on to the question of long term effects. Unless the water's pH or other chemicals are extremely out of balance, your eyes won't experience any long term harm if you open them under water. There are other dangers and things to be aware of though. If the water has high levels of infectious bacteria, then you could experience an infection in your eyes if you open them under water or they get splashed. If you are swimming at a public pool or in a pool with many young children, it may be wise to use goggles instead. If you wear contact lenses, you will also want to be be aware that you might lose a lens if you are splashed or open your eyes under water. Finally, since your vision is very poor without goggles, you should be cautious about running in to things if you are swimming at a fast pace. Goggles should definitely be worn while swimming laps, because you could injure yourself by running in to the wall at the end of the pool.

To summarize, it's unlikely that opening your eyes in any normal swimming pool will cause any long term problems. However, there are a few items to be aware of. Above all, practice good pool safety and have fun!

Foods for Healthy Eyes

Essential Nutrients

Some of the eye diseases are part of genetics and cannot be avoided, but we can still help our eyes. Nutrients such as Lutein and Zeaxanthin are vital for the eye to remain healthy and function properly. We can supply the eyes with nutrients with the food we eat. By keeping the eyes healthy, we can prevent eye diseases or at least limit the growth and progression of them. The eyes need a balanced nutritional diet that includes vitamin A, vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E, Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Meso-zeaxanthin, Zinc and Magnesium.

Vitamin A, C, E, Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Zinc are all anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants are compounds which benefit the body greatly as they rid it of any toxins. The most famous anti-oxidant is probably beta Carotene, a pro-vitamin A carotenoid.

All vitamin B compounds in general, enhance the immune and nervous system and aid the absorption of magnesium. Magnesium assists with the production of tears which is important for cleaning the eyes, keeping them hydrated as well as killing bacteria. Meso-zeaxanthin is at the core of the macula and responsible for the visual quality.

Ways To Improve Eye Sight

When it comes to the way the human eye works, many people have no clue as to what comprises the visual spectrum. In fact, many just assume that you are dealt with certain cards and if you can't see 20/20 you need glasses and that's it. If that sounds like something that you've thought in the past and are wearing corrective lenses today, there's hope for a brighter future. You can change the way you see and in as little as 3 months time you can throw away your glasses forever. This sounds like an amazing thing, but there are some that are skeptical. The truth of the matter is simple, there are ways that you can improve eyesight without glasses and see clearly for a lifetime. The following are 3 ways to improve your vision today.

Eye Exercises -

You can utilize a variety of eye exercises that will strengthen the ocular muscles and help put together a more solid connect to the nerve endings in the eyeball. By working on this within 15 minutes a day for 30 days, you are guaranteed to see well. Given enough time you will see perfectly without the aid of anything corrective. This might sound surprising, but it's 100% true, you can in fact regain your confidence and show the world your eyes without the need of glass.
Avoid Doctors and Optometrist's Negativity -

When you go get your eyes checked, don't believe the hype. Often times you are told that you need glasses and you just follow along. You have to remember that these medical professionals are in the business of selling you on the need for lenses so that you have to pay a great deal of money and keep them in business. Instead of letting them tell you about the eye, look for information like that found in the eBook: Vision Without Glasses. A little information will help you stay away from negative diagnosis and help you get perfect visual health.
Use Your Own Glasses -

If you are already wearing glasses to see, you'll be able to use them in a different way to improve your eyesight. It's a matter of using them properly and not the way you might think, as a way to strengthen the ocular nerves and muscles to improve the way you see until it's 20/20. This is a complicated task but you can learn how to do it through reading Vision Without Glasses.
If you're not truly convinced that you can throw away your glasses in a matter of months, that's OK. However, you will not gain access to knowing how to see again. Seeing is believing and there is a lot of truth to the notion that you can improve your visualizations with simple exercise, information on how to use your glasses, and other methods that target the eyeball instead of outside forces. Changing your perception costs nothing, and will help you see the world again without having to pay hundreds of dollars for new glasses every year and best of all, you will not have any more degeneration. - via

5 Ways to Get Rid of Unattractive Crows Feet

Getting rid of unattractive crow's feet is possible without getting plastic surgery. You can do it naturally if you know what it takes, because your skin has the ability to repair and rejuvenate. Here are 5 things you can do.

Wear Large UV Blocking Sunglasses

One of the major causes of wrinkles anywhere on your face is excessive sun exposure. The sun also causes you to squint and over time habitual facial expressions can play a role in wrinkle formation.

It is the UV rays that do the most damage, which is why you want sunglasses that filter UV light. Not all lenses do that. Really cheap sunglasses may actually do more harm than good. They can cause your pupils to dilate, letting in more of the UV rays that also play a role in cataract formation.

Choose a pair of sunglasses that are large enough to shield the corners of your eyes from UV light. Not only does this help to prevent the damage that causes wrinkles. With time, sun protected skin starts to look more youthful and when you stop squinting the crow's feet will start to fade away.

Get Regular Eye Exams & Keep Your Prescription Up to Date

Bad vision is another cause of squinting. You might not realize you need glasses or an update to your prescription. Regular annual eye exams and regularly updating your prescription can keep you from squinting. The goal of Botox injections is to relax the facial muscles, causing wrinkles to smooth out. You can relax our facial muscles naturally. In this case, you just need to stop squinting.

Increase Your Antioxidant Intake

Antioxidants help to prevent and repair free radical damage caused by overexposure to UV sunlight. Fruits and vegetables are the best sources of antioxidants but there are some unique antioxidants that are not so readily available in foods.

Coenzyme Q10 for example is a very beneficial antioxidant. Your body makes less of it as you age. The better dietary supplements contain coenzyme Q10.

Take Fish Oil

Fish oil can improve your skin's firmness when taken daily for three months, according to at least one scientific study. As your skin becomes firmer, fine lines like crow's feet will fade away. Some of the best fish oils also contain the most active form of coenzyme Q10 called ubiquinol.

Use a Good Eye Serum

An eye contour serum can help fade crow's feet, reduce bags and get rid of dark circles. It takes regular use to see the improvement but if the serum contains the right ingredients, it will really work.

One of the ingredients to look for is coenzyme Q10. The antioxidant works from the inside out and from the outside in to repair free radical damage. Research has shown that tiny particles of coenzyme Q10 penetrate deep into the skin and work to reverse sun damage. If your crow's feet were caused by the sun, coenzyme Q10 will work.

So, there you have 5 steps you can take to get rid of your crow's feet. If you are patient and persistent, you will be rewarded with a more attractive, more youthful look.

How to Make Bags Under Eyes Disappear in 60 Seconds

If you're looking to make those bags under your eyes disappear, then lets first take a look at the causes and how you might be able to change some of your lifestyle habits to eliminate these unsightly features.
Causes of Bags Under Eyes
Sleeping
Believe it or not, the angle at which your head is positioned when you sleep can either contribute to or help alleviate under eye bags.

Sleeping completely horizontally creates water retention under the eye meaning it can't drain properly, thus the build up of water will rest under the eye causing the skin to swell or form dark circles.

Too Much Sodium
Foods such as fast foods like McDonalds or KFC contain a lot of sodium for flavouring purposes, while tinned food and frozen food also contain higher than average levels of sodium as it acts as a preservative.

Too much sodium causes your body to retain extra fluids and one of those areas is under your eyes.

So watch your diet. Some great anti-aging fruits include pomegranate, pineapple, apples and blueberries while some of the best vegetables to include would be broccoli, Bok Choy, green cabbage, spinach and cauliflower.

Lowering your sodium intake through addressing your diet will have a profound effect on the skin beneath the eye.

Cold or Fever
Having a cold or fever or some allergy may cause fluid retention and the skin may become a little puffy but this will pass.

One of the best advantages of being a little slightly ill is that it forces you to eat more healthy food, and it's also a great detox, so don't be too concerned at this stage if your eyes aren't looking tip top.

Toxins
No need to elaborate here but we all know that excessive smoking, drinking and substance abuse will all contribute to dark circles and bags under the eyes.

How to Eliminate Bags Under Eyes?
If you've observed the causes above you will already be aware of ways in how to help eliminate the sagging under the eye.

There are then two other alternatives:

Eye Surgery
This is both expensive and dangerous and there is healing time to be taken into consideration.

In short a scalpel used to be the common form of surgery, by making a small incision in the conjunctiva to remove or reposition any fat. This often lead to scarring or the sad-eye look as the eye is then forced to droop a little.

Nowadays laser treatment is used to make a laser incision instead of a scalpel which reduces the amount of blood vessels that burst in the procedure.

There is less bruising this way but there is still recovery time to take into consideration and the cost which is well into the four figure mark.

Eye Tightening Creams
Eye tightening creams can range from as little as $25 up and are designed to work not just in the first few minutes after application, but also for long-term overall effectiveness, and due to high competition prices have dramatically fallen but their quality has not.

Most eye tightening creams include collagen, that powerful fibrous protein that binds and supports skin cell tissue, reducing under eye sagging and fine lines, while stimulating the growth of new skin cells.

Vitamin A and Vitamin C are the single best anti-oxidants for helping to constrict underlying blood vessels and for repairing molecules that have been damaged by the toxins in the air we breath, food we eat and substances we may consume - free radicals as they're termed.

Finally, while water retention under the eye may be the cause for these bags, it's still important that the skin stays well hydrated.

Hyaluronic acid is crucial here as it draws moisture from lower layers of the skin to the skins surface, and traps it there emitting a healthier all round glow.

Applying an under eye tightening cream daily is both inexpensive and highly effective.

Instant in 60 seconds, Instant Under-Eye Tightening Cream by Eye-Secrets is leading the way in the treatment for making bags under the eye disappear and is probably the most value for money of all under eye tightening creams currently on the market.

Home Remedy for Treating Pink Eye

Pink eye, also known as conjunctivitis, is a common ailment caused by several different factors. Pink eye may come on because of stress to the small nerves in the eye, or because of a bacterial or viral infection.

Infectious pink eye can spread like a wildfire to those around you. Since so many people get this disease, it is no wonder that so many people want an effective home remedy for pink eye. There are a number of simple techniques to get rid of this condition.

Chamomile: Simply placed cool moist chamomile tea bags on each closed eye for about 10 minutes. Repeat this every couple hours. This will help in clearing the infection.

Saltwater: Cotton balls soaked in warm saltwater when placed on the eyelids gives relief from Pink eye.

Sea Salt : Put a teaspoon of sea salt in one cup warm water and stir until dissolved. You can use an eye dropper and put two to three drops of the saline solution you have created directly into your eye or you can use a cotton ball. Saturate the cotton ball and place it on your eye allowing the water to run into your eye. This is a tried and true remedy that has been used for many years and is still a staple in England.

The standard medical convention of treating conjunctivitis is with anti-biotics or anti-allergens. However, due to the overprescribing and over-proliferation of anti-biotics and anti-allergens, we have built up a moderate resistance to those medications.

Over-the-counter decongestant eye drops can relieve seasonally occurring allergic pinkeye. Cold, moist wash cloths can also be applied to the eyes. Again, care should be taken to use a different cloth for each eye. In extreme cases, a prescription may be necessary.

Steep 2 tablespoons of dried calendula (also called pot marigold) in 1 cup of hot water (covered) for about an hour. Allow to cool. Take a square of cotton, dip in the tea, place some drops in eye and put cotton over eye for about 10 minutes. Use as needed. Refrigerate the remainder and use next day same way. No stinging, no burning, very soothing.

To make sure you are clean you should wash your hand frequently and keep them away from your face and eyes. It's very useful to wash the effected eye with coriander tea. Boil two cups of water and remove from heat. Add one cup of dried coriander. It allows you to steep for five minutes. Strain the herbs from the liquid and it allows you to cool the room temperature. Use this herbal eye wash three times a day to relieve pain and soothe the inflammation. If you are prone to conjunctivitis, these herbal remedies can help during inflammation; protect yourself from future episodes by changing your pillowcases and eye cosmetics frequently.

Colloidal Silver : You can buy colloidal silver in a spray bottle. Spray into your eyes two to three times a day. You can also put one or two drops of colloidal silver in your eyes two or three times a day if you can't find a spray bottle. Colloidal silver has been known to cure pink eye as quickly as six hours. Be sure to use a few days after healing to be safe.

Home Remedy to Itchy Eyes

The Underlying Cause of Your Itchy Eyes
The number one cause of itchy eyes is hypersensitivity to dust or pollen. This is an allergic reaction to something the body is trying to fight off similar to a virus or bacteria.

This causes you experience symptoms like a runny nose, sneezing, itching, and irritated eyes. About half the population of Americans have some degree of allergies, and according to studies, seventy-five percent of all common allergic reactions affect the eyes.

Soothe Itchy Eyes Naturally
When it comes to allergies, the best advice is to avoid the culprit that is affecting you. But in the case of itchy eyes, it's impossible to shield yourself from any possible source or irritation that might be in the air.

When you are indoors I always recommend a good air filter that removes much of the dust particles. This of course is a way of controlling the air you breathe when you are inside, but let's take a closer look at what you can do when you are out in the elements.

Perilla frutescens extract
Perilla frutescens is a plant in the mint family that grows commonly all over Asia and is used for both food and medicine.

In a study published Experimental Biology and Medicine researchers found that people with allergies who take a daily dose of Perilla frutescens extract enjoy reduced symptoms including less itchiness in their eyes.

Butterbur extract
Butterbur extract proved as effective as leading prescriptions in reducing and preventing allergy symptoms including itchy eyes.

My Eyes Aren't Itchy-They're Twitching
Patients not only report itchy eyes, but describe a condition known as twitching eyes. Eye twitching is caused by small muscle spasms below or above the eye and is usually triggered by stress or fatigue. In most cases, the spasm will last a little while and then go away on its own. Although it is not a serious condition, twitching eyes can be very annoying and tiring.

To prevent mild eye spasms from occurring or to stop the twitching I advise my patients to get a good night's sleep and some relaxation. I always ask them to take a moment to think about the sources of stress in their life and find ways to relieve it. By reducing stress or finding an outlet for tension usually prevents future eye twitching episodes.

If your eye twitching persists longer than two days or if it causes your facial muscles to spasm as well, you should schedule an appointment with your doctor to rule nerve issues and to explore other treatment options.

Your eyes play an important role in the quality of life. You are not alone if itchy or twitching eyes are your problem. Don't continue to suffer in silence, talk to your doctor about some of the natural remedies mentioned here. Finding the best method to relieve your symptoms will allow you to make the most of the outdoor environment as well as your indoor space.

TIPS TO REMOVE UNDER EYE LINES AND WRINKLES

Eye wrinkles and lines around the eyes are a very big problem that affects many women and men these days. Appearances of fine lines around the eyes and under eye wrinkles are a normal part of the aging process. As you age, your skin will naturally grow thinner and thinner. As it grows thinner, these wrinkles tend to appear around the eyes before they appear anywhere else. The main reason for these wrinkles is the absence of collagen which is required to fill this facial area. When that happens, wrinkles form easily. Removing eye wrinkles can be achieved naturally. Stick with healthy habits, which will safely heal and repair the skin around your eyes.

GENERAL CHANGES THAT SHOULD BE MADE TO YOUR LIFESTYLE

1. Do some facial exercises for the muscles around the eye.
2. Eat good quality food; nutrition plays a vital role for the health of the skin.
3. If you are using any cream for eye care, use a good quality eye cream.
4. Get plenty of rest and sleep.

TIPS TO REMOVE UNDER EYE LINES AND WRINKLES

1) Protect the skin around your eyes from the sun. The ultraviolet light in sunlight damages your skin cells and causes hyper pigmentation and wrinkling.

2) Frowning and other facial expressions crinkle the skin around your eyes.

3) While sleeping, avoid pressing the side of your face against pillow.

4) Use some an anti-aging wrinkle cream that contains effective ingredients like retinol, antioxidant vitamins E and C, every evening before bed.

5) Moisturize your skin every morning with a moisturizing facial cream or eye cream. The moisturizer fills your skin with water to decrease the severity of wrinkles and fine lines

6) Massaging the facial area will tightens skin under and around the eye area and that will help to remove the bags around the eyes. Massaging will help to make skin tighter under and around eye and the circles will visibly diminish in the within a few days. Massage the following areas of your face quite vigorously:

(1) Up and down close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
(2) Up and back near chin point to cheek bone.
(3) Up and down close to eye from cheek bones.

7) Use any natural oil such as olive and coconut oils (make sure to use extra virgin oils) for better result.

8) Smoking is not good for skin health. Smoking releases free radicals that damage your skin cells.

9) Wrinkles and lines can be reduced by doing yoga face exercises. Practice yoga and it will enable you to relax completely and gives you deep, restful sleep.

Under eye lines and wrinkles is a common problem and there are a number of things you can do to help. If you combine all of these together, give some time and you will begin to see improvements.

How To Improve Vision Through Eye Exercises You Can Do Anywhere

Eye Problems can include macular degeneration, amblyopia (Lazy Eye), astigmatism, blepharitis, cataracts, conjunctivitis (Pink Eye), color blindness, glaucoma, keratoconus, myopia (Nearsightedness), or simply eye fatigue. Patients and doctors alike agree that eye exercises are often effective in relieving eye strain and stress. These exercises may also help to improve conditions such as esotropia (the eye turns in) or exotroia (the eye turns out).

Just as with any exercise program that you start, you want to discuss with your eye doctor before doing any eye exercises. There are some rare conditions that could cause your eyes to be strained even further or quite possibly incur further permanent damage to your eyes. When doing the exercises explained here you will need a pencil. Also, if you are wearing contacts, you may want to remove them. You could possibly have problems with your contacts if you wear them during the exercises, they could fold, become dislodged or even suction to the eyeball. Whatever you do, do not apply pressure to your eyeballs and you may want to do the exercises in private (or at least tell those around you what you are doing - you will see why in a second.).

Write Down These Eye Exercises
Sit in a chair in a comfortable position. Briskly rub your hands together until they are warm. With your palms slightly cupped, close your eyes and cover them gently with your warmed hands. Do not apply pressure to your eyeballs. Do not cover your nose. Relax and practice some deep breathing as you de-stress your body as well as your eyes. Repeat this process for several minutes.

Now, squeeze your eyes shut for several seconds (about 5), then open them wide for several seconds. Repeat this 7 or 8 times, then using the tips of your fingers, close your eyes and gently massage your eyes. Using a circular motion, remember a circular motion and remember not to press too hard. Do this for about one minute. The next step is to gently press three fingers against the upper eyelid of each eye and hold for 1-2 seconds then release. Repeat this process five times.

Now, roll your eyes in a clockwise direction, then in a counter-clockwise direction. Repeat this motion five times, making sure that you blink between each repetition. Now sit near a window, about six inches from the glass, and make a mark on the glass at eye level. Make sure that the mark is large enough and dark enough for you to see. A red or black sticker would work well in this instance. Direct your eyes toward the mark and focus on something beyond it for 10 to 15 seconds. Return your focus to the mark for 10 to 15 seconds. Repeat this several times. (This will allow your eyes to focus on something in the distance, and then to focus on a close up object.) You can do different personalized variations of this. But you get the general idea.

Now here is where you will use your pencil. Hold your pencil at arm's length in front of you. Slowly move the pencil toward your nose, keeping your eyes on the pencil until you can no longer focus on it. Repeat this ten times. This is an easy exercise you can do at any time.

Make time to do these exercises on a regular basis. If you spend a lot of time in front of the computer, make sure that you look away for 5 to 10 seconds at a distant object every 30 minutes, in order to reduce eye strain and damage.

Purpose and Benefits of Contact Lens

What are contact lenses? These are lenses that are put on the eye to help clear vision or for cosmetic purposes. It is a medical device.

What is the purpose of it? This is an alternative to traditional eyeglasses. It is able to provide the same purpose of glasses which is enable the user to see well. Know Your EYE Color

Right or wrong, we live in a world of first impressions. People make snap judgments about other people based on their posture, their smile, their attire, and even their eye color. Based on a survey of U.S. women between the ages of 16 and 35, people associate different eye colors to personality traits such as intelligence, trustworthiness, kindness and, yes, even sexiness.
