How to Get Rid Of Blackheads on Cheeks

Let me show you how to get rid of blackheads on cheeks so that you can have a clear face that you don't have to hide or be ashamed of. I know what having blackheads is like, and for some it can cause misery. Getting rid of blackheads on the cheeks is easy, if you know how.

The only way of getting rid of blackheads on your cheeks, is to flush them away. Many skin cleansing treatments can be bad for the skin, so finding the right type of cleansing fluid is vital. You also need to clear away the dead skin cells, so that new ones can grow, and if you continue keeping the skin clear using the solutions below, they will grow back clean and healthy.

A morning and evening ritual of cleaning the skin, will help you get rid of cheek blackheads in just a matter of days.

Firstly, clean you skin with an oil, and castor oil is one of the best as it does not irritate the skin. It will almost grab hold of the sebum, which is what a blackhead is. All you have to do is apply the oil to your skin, massage in for a couple of minutes to let it do its magic, and then wash away with clean warm water.

I usually do the above method in the late evenings before bedtime, as it not only cleans your face, but also helps keep it moisturize and help you relax before going to sleep.

Another helpful step showing you how to get rid of blackheads on cheeks.

I have mentioned this before to many of my friends, and it works really well. Baking soda used as a facial scrub, will help get rid of those stubborn blackheads on your cheeks. The slightly abrasive action helps clear away skin cells and blackheads, so you get 2 cleaning steps in one. Make the facial scrub using a small amount of baking soda and water, apply to the skin and gently rub in a circular motion. Do this for a couple of minutes, and then wash the skin with clean warm water.

I have been using these simple steps for years, and at first it can seem like a bit of a chore, but after a couple of days, I guarantee you will see some great results. These methods also work really well on the nose and other affected areas. Make sure you test it on a small area first, to make sure you don't see any allergic reactions.

Natural Remedies to Treat Dry Lips

Do Not Lick Your Lips
The instinct to lick your lips makes the chapping worse, says dermatologist Jennifer Linder, MD, of Scottsdale, Ariz.

"As saliva evaporates, it dehydrates skin further," Linder says. Saliva also contains acids that help break down food. Those acids can irritate compromised lip skin.

Another common mistake is scrubbing, peeling, or biting off skin flakes. "Picking at the already thin skin of the lips can lead to bleeding and severe discomfort," Linder says. "This slows the healing process and irritates the skin further."
That could lead to an infection or a cold sore.

5 Tips on Maintaining the Hair Strength

Hair is one of the most beautiful parts of body that continuously grows throughout life. It consists of keratin protein. Every person is born with a different hair type that remains throughout the life. It is essential to remember that it is not a cakewalk to keep up a healthy hair. Various natural and chemical based products helps to get a shine and lustre of hair. Often people stay under the assumption that hair care and scalp care are two different things; instead they are joint with each other. Here are a few tips for maintaining the hair:
1) Brushing - It is essential to brush the hair to get rid of dried scalp and other foreign bodies on the scalp. The kind of comb that you use must not have pointed teeth as it will irritate the scalp while combing. The use of round and soft teeth will help in distributing the natural oils evenly on the scalp and hair. The brushing schedule of hair is as important as tooth brushing.
2) Proper washing - To keep up a healthy hair, it is important to keep it clean. Washing the hair at regular intervals will help in getting rid of the dirt or dust that may have stuck to the hair. If you use shampoo for washing the hair, try to pick a milder one that has lesser amount of damaging chemicals. To get the tresses, it is important to use conditioner. Likewise, oiling the hair also help in improving the texture of hair and giving them a natural shine. Try and remove all the lather worked up during shampooing from the scalp. Those who do not remove the lather completely often complain of scalp drying.
3) Proper Styling - Do you know that proper styling that forms regular trimming is essential for your hair? It helps in getting rid of the split ends and giving a smooth, flowing look to the hair. You can go to an expert and create a style that accentuates your look. Blow dryers, though highly convenient are not good for hair. Regular use of dryers or irons damages the hair and dries up the natural oil from them. This makes the hair dull and gives it a shabby look. After getting out of the bath, you can simply pat the hair and allow it to dry naturally.
4) Proper Food - The food that you eat makes a direct impact on the texture of your hair. Those who take a balanced measure of vitamins and proteins enjoy a thick, shiny and vivacious hair. One can get these nutrients by eating fresh fruits, vegetables and protein rich food.
5) Proper Sleep - The way you lead your life makes a lot of impact on the hair. Sufficient sleep and rest are important for enviable hair growth. Studies have indicated that stressed minds and tired bodies lead to a series of hair problems.
By keeping all these points in mind and after the right health care regimen, you can enjoy beautiful, long and healthy hair.

Natural Stress Release: The Sounds of Nature

Everyone's body and soul crave balance but there is an enemy to this desire for balance and its name is stress.. Balance is the most important principle in nature but it can be drastically put off kilter by stressful situations. For example, Spring is a time of growth and burgeoning abundance where as, on the other side of the seasonal cycle, Autumn is the precursor to death and decay. Everything in nature is in perfect balance, from the ecological food chain that starts with microbes being eaten by tiny bugs to the top of the food chain where man devours the vegetables or meat that are an eventual product of the food chain.
This is the same with the functions that take place within our own bodies. In a natural state, our bodies and temperament are perfectly balanced. However, this is a very rare occurrence for millions of people. One of the things that puts us off balance is being in a state of stress. Stress, by its very name, is a state that breaks down and wears down the healthy aspect of our bodies and spirits.
That is why it is so important to continually try to reduce the effects of stress and regain a natural balance in our lives.
The experience of hearing audible, natural sounds is very soothing to us as it tends to transport us to a beautiful place in nature. The pretty sound of chirping birds reminds us of nestling in a sylvan glade surrounded by the gentle color of green. If we close our eyes, we might even picture a babbling brook that serves as a thirst quenching fountain for the singing birds. In addition, the crashing sounds of ocean waves beating against the shore will bring us to a state of relaxation linked to memories of an easy-going day at the beach. Remarkably, sitting by the salty shore and listening to the rhythmic pounding of waves puts people into a very relaxed state of being. It is literally hypnotic to be in the environment of the seashore and to hear the beautiful sound of crashing waves.
Interestingly, the random sounds of singing and chirping birds and the rhythmic, orderly sounds of ocean waves are both auditory signals that create a state of deep relaxation in most people.
Because of this very natural and basic principle, listening to the sounds of nature is a powerful way to combat the effects of stress. It should not be a surprise that natural sounds do alleviate the aggravating feelings of stress in most people.
One of the easiest -- and most effective -- ways to put yourself into a more relaxed state is to take advantage of the beautiful sounds of nature and spend as much time listening to recorded renditions of natural sounds. Some examples would be listening to a torrential rainfall, to the crunching of dry leaves in an autumn forest, to the singing of a babbling brook or even to the crackling sound of the fire in a log cabin fireplace.
It is a drug-free and simple way to regain your equilibrium and put yourself into a pleasant, healing state of natural health.

All Natural Aloe Vera Smoothies

Aloe Vera is a plant easy to grow and need less care. All you need to do is ask from someone who has one and you're off to a bountiful Aloe Vera plant in so short a time. They are good as houseplants and for decoration but most of all they are also good for you!
I have been drinking Aloe Vera gel with fruits and it does help in a lot of ways. Here is one smoothie I tried and love to enjoy before my breakfast time.
Aloe Vera All Natural Smoothies
1 Lemon
1/2 banana
1/2 apple
Aloe Vera
You need to prepare the blender, a knife and the cutting board. Make sure you cut an Aloe Vera leaf or paddle (whatever you call it) in the morning for a fresher start.
First, wash the ALOE VERA leaf. I usually cut the sides first to avoid being poke at since they are prickly to the touch. The next thing to do is to slice the flat side of the leaf with the knife to separate the gel out of the skin. It is easier to do the flat side because it is even. Then the challenging part begins. The other side of the skin has a little curve and it takes a little bit artistry to separate the skin. But fear not, it is not that bad. With a little practice, you will be good at this. Just follow the curve shape of the skin and you will keep most of the gel. The other way is to cut them in half and that would make it easier to handle the curves. Drop one piece to the blender. A piece of the gel would be 4x4, like a square.
You need a little liquid in the blender for it to work well. The lemon will make this possible. Well, with a little help from a juicer. Yes, the fresh squeezed lemon juice will be the use instead of water. Although, adding water is a good idea, it all depends on how you want the outcome of the smoothies. If you want more liquid, just add water to your smoothies. I use the orangeX juicer for this. Add the juice to the blender with the gel.
Add the banana and the apple. Blend it and enjoy.
I like the flavor; it is just perfect and full to my stomach.
The rest of the gel will be kept in the fridge for the next round of smoothies when my tummy is ready.

Six Great Tips on How to Cure Hiccups

Tip #1. While bending over, have the hiccuper drink water from the far side of the glass.

Tip #2. You may ask the hiccuper to hold his/her breath for as long as he/she can.

Tip #3. Have the victim to take ten sips of water all in one breath.

If these three tips are difficult to attempt or none of it works, you may try to change your strategy and try some sweetness.

Tip #4. This tip is especially helpful for children. Remember Mary Poppins singing “Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down”. Simply following her advice, administer one teaspoon of sugar or peanut butter and have the victim swallow it fast. Usually, the hiccups will go away on the first try. If not, you may try it for several times once every two minutes.

Note: If the hiccuper is a young child, you may use one teaspoon of corn syrup instead of sugar or peanut butter.  After administering, lay the child down for a few minutes.

Tip #5. If the hiccuper is a baby, let them be. For most part, leave a hiccupping baby alone. Give him/her a bottle of if it makes you feel better. This is because some doctors think that baby hiccups may be due to overstimulation. That is if you notice that the baby hiccups during a particularly stimulating activity, you should decrease or eliminate that activity instantly.

Tip #6. Even history had some tips on how to cure a hiccup. Plato quotes an exchange between the playwright Aristophanes and the physician Eryximachus that took place sometime in 400 BC. The playwright asked the physician to heal his hiccups. The physician exclaimed “Let me recommend that you should hold your breath and if this fails, gargle with a little water; and if the hiccup still continues, tickle you nose with something and sneeze, and if you sneeze once or twice, even the most violent hiccup is sure to go”.
