4 Reasons For ACNE Breakout

Hormones
One of the main reasons for acne breakouts is the production of hormones such as androgen. The hormone androgen is produced by the body during the puberty stages of humans. Your skin glands produce a substance called sebum. Androgen makes your skin produce extra sebum. The extra sebum collects bacteria and dead skin cells that have been shed from the lining of your tiny hair follicles. This mixture is a great recipe for acne because it is sure to clog your pores. This is the reason why most of the people who have acne are adolescents and teenagers. Hormones that are produced during menstruation and pregnancy are also responsible for acne flare ups.

Genetics
Acne can be passed down through generations. If your mother or father or grandparents had it then you are likely to get it as well.

Oils and Make up
Make up is used to help you look nice at that moment, but in the long run it will be the reason why you will have a pimple or two. Make up is great for clogging pores. Oils used in different lotions and moisturizers will only make the problem worse if you already have oily skin. You must use something light and non-comedogenic to keep the pores from being clogged.

Stress
Are you having bad days at work? Tough time in a relationship? Stress can be a reason for your breakouts. Stress can bring about hormonal changes in your body which can cause the skins oil glands to enlarge. When your glands are secreting more oil, your skin will have more blackheads, whiteheads and pimples.

Now that you are armed with this knowledge of what causes acne, you should have a plan to try and control it. One thing that you have learned from all of this is that you need to have clear, unclogged pores. In order for you to have a chance at getting rid of your acne you must find something that will help to keep your pores clean on a daily basis. You should use something that is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), without harsh chemicals that will dry or strip your skin of its natural moisture, and something that will wash away dead skin cells gently.
