Advantages and Disadvantages of using Laser Treatment for Skin

Laser surgery is surgery using a laser (instead of a scalpel) to cut tissue. Examples include the use of a laser scalpel in otherwise conventional surgery, and soft tissue laser surgery, in which the laser beam vaporizes soft tissue with high water content. Laser resurfacing is a technique in which molecular bonds of a material are dissolved by a laser.

Green laser surgery is used for the treatment/reduction of enlarged prostates. Laser surgery is much safer than normal surgery as it makes no physical contact so no infections are spread.

Advantages

Quick One

It's a very quick process - In deference to other types of treatment that can take months to see any change, laser treatment can show results and in 2 or maybe 3 weeks. The dark skin will be gone and the new, white skin will be there without showing any dark spots.

Skin Whitening are good

The finished article is usually very good - Each year, billions of dollars are made by the beauty industry from products that are supposed to whiten or lighten your skin but are ineffective, either the ingredients are not suitable or strong enough to give a lasting effect. Laser surgery shows results, it is one of the few skin whitening treatments which really does work, therefore you will not be disappointed when you spend all of your money on this process.

Medical Care

Laser treatment gave Good result

A plus for the laser surgery is that the patient is usually being cared for by a person who has a medical background (or is still a medical professional) from start to end of the procedure, therefore if any problems arise, the doctors should be able to identify what's wrong and rectify the problem immediately. Then there is always the option of, (God forbid anything did go wrong,) suing the clinic, hospital or doctor who performed the surgery.

Disadvantages

Cost

Financial Outlay, Time Lost - The financial outlay for laser surgery is usually far beyond the bank balance of normal working people. It is also time-consuming because people need to visit or stay in a cosmetic or dermatological clinic, many of them require clients to have both, pre and post-treatment supervision which could add to the overall cost.

Side effects

Laser surgery is still relatively new and there is the possibility that people may suffer some side effects once the treatment has been completed. This surgery could produce swelling, inflammations or in some cases, as has happened, the treated area returning with an even darker hue.
